Inner Landscapes Gallery
1974- 80
These "inscape" explorations are composed of forms reminiscent of industrial architecture, but sieved thru the dream world.
The free brushwork is probing into abysses and underground passages of illusory landscape, with trapped power in its seemingly logical three-dimensional constructions.
The process of painting is digging into the deep recesses of the psyche, to touch the fearful emotions of being lost among mysterious tombs, uncontrollable waters, menacing structures.
There're no stable grounds, nor safe clear skies, being pregnant with inexpressible, nonverbal dangers.
Nevertheless, there's a classical harmony in the composition, with the use of free perspective delving into deep spaces of the psyche.
